According to a
study, which studied semen's mood-altering chemicals, oral sex is good for the
health of women, and it also helps them feel happier. The State
University of New York study was conducted by scientists who carried out a
survey instead of doing a practical experiment. They compared, 239 females',
sex lives to their mental health.
According to Daily Mail, the study follows research which shows that semen contains
chemicals that contain at least three anti-depressants as
well as chemicals that can elevate mood, and induce sleep and increase affection.

According to Opposing Views, researchers Gallup and Burch, as well as
psychologist Steven Platek claim that women having unprotected sex are less
depressed and when it comes to cognitive tests, they perform better. The researchers
say that women absorb the semen when they have unprotected sex.
According to The Sun, the study showed that women who used condoms were
just as depressed as women who practiced abstinence.
Participants who
took part in the study completed the Beck Depression Inventory, which is a
clinical measure of depressive symptoms that is used often.
