If you own a registered business in Nigeria, it’s time to double-check your status! The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has officially kicked off its "Batch 6" compliance sweep, targeting 100,000 inactive and non-compliant companies to be deleted from the national register.
The Deadline Is Ticking:
Under Sections 692 (3) & (4) of the CAMA Act 2020, the CAC has given affected businesses exactly 90 days (from Wednesday, July 15, 2026) to regularize their records or face automatic deregistration.
What You Need to Do Immediately:
🔍 Check the List: Go to the CAC’s official portal or contact Portal to check if your company has been listed on the Batch 6 blacklist.
📑 File Outstanding Returns: Update and file all your pending Annual Returns, alongside your Persons with Significant Control (PSC) and Beneficial Ownership records.
📧 Submit Proof: Once filed, send your evidence of compliance directly to struckoffcompanies@cac.gov.ng.
