The editor of Edeson Online News, Mr Endy Edeson has concluded a 2-day working visit to Benin City, Edo State. Edeson arrived Benin last Friday and returned to Lagos on Sunday. He was welcomed by some indigienes of Idogbo community, afterwards Edeson took a tour round the major places in Edo such as Ringroad, Sapele road, Oba's market, UNIBEN etc.
As part of his visit, Edeson documented the wedding ceremony of an Edo born musician, Eddy Blings. The video of the wedding will be published on Edeson TV via Edeson News Blog.
According to Edeson, the people of Edo State are nice. He felt at home for the 2 days he spent in the city. Edo State is among top 5 most peaceful States in Nigeria. It is hard to hear of incessant communal crisis in Benin unlike other Southern , Western and Northern States. The State is also blessed with beautiful women. Their ladies are naturally beautiful.
Edeson also noted that it takes about 4 hours journey from Lagos to Benin by road while less than an hour journey by flight. The full documentary of his visit will be published soon. Stay tuned.
