President Donald Trump has described his April meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari as lifeless. Speaking with his three aides on Monday Trump said he never wanted to meet with someone as lifeless as Nigeria President.
“The first meeting, with Nigeria’s ailing 75-year-old Muhammadu Buhari in April, ended with the US president telling aides he never wanted to meet someone so lifeless again, according to three people familiar with the matter.”
Financial times had reported that Trump will welcome his Kenya counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta to the White House on Monday. Recall that Buhari had said that his meeting with Trump was sweet and would yield results on economy, security, anti-corruption. Trump on the other hand had told Buhari that he should protect Nigerians against spate of killings.
But reacting to Kenyatta’s proposed meeting on Monday, Trump warned that he does not want to meet someone so lifeless again.

What do you expect when you have a man like buhari as president, number one citizen of Naija, haba, I laugh when I see learned pole saying buhari is the best, I see it as saying please help me burn my school certificates, buhari should only be ruling during military era, not now, even during military era, we had some very sound leaders, likes ojukwu, Tunde idiagbon, Gowon(go on with one Nigeria), muritala an Hausa man with wisdom just to mention a few.

To me and well meaning Nigerians, President Muhammad Buhari is our hero. He is lifeless and yet he had meeting with him. Is there any sense in that? Let him (Donald) go ahead and have meetings with the dead ones in the mortuary and see how sweet it is. I doubt the source of this news, and if indeed it is true then, Donald Trump must be out of his mind!
