France Beat Croatia 4 - 2 To Lift 2018 World Cup

So it’s finally over. After 32 days, 63 games in Russia, the World Cup final between France and Croatia takes place at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. France won by 4-2, with Kylian Mbappe becoming the first teenager to score in a World Cup final.
He is the second teenager to score in a World Cup final since Pele did it as a 17-year-old for Brazil in 1958. The French seized a 4-1 lead and have seemingly sewn up the title.
Paul Pogba scored the 3rd goal for France while Mbappe scored the 4th goal. The first France goal came off a Croatian’s head. The second was scored with the aid of the Argentine referee, and became the first video-assistant-reviewed goal in World Cup history.
The title is France’s first since it won on home soil in 1998, and it ended a thrilling run by Croatia. Kylian Mbappe wins the Young Player of the Tournament award.
