He has been admitted in a private hospital in Abuja following injury he sustained after a successful escape from police grip while being taken to Lokoja.
However, Melaye was reportedly given a hot chase by the police officers attached to observe him during the journey. He was expected to be paraded in Lokoja, later this evening among other hardened criminals who implicated him in the crime that necessitated his arrest.
