Love Song "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" By Rock Singer, Bonnie Tyler

Hi folks, my Flashback music for the week is a powerful love song titled “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” by a Welsh rock singer, Bonnie Tyler. I started listening to this song since 1994. Though, it was released in 1983. Though, a “blue” song, the rhythm and beat will knock you of your feet.

Part of the chorus says:

“And I need you now tonight
And I need you more than ever
And if you only hold me tight
We'll be holding on forever
And we'll only be making it right”

From the chorus, you can deduce that it is a song for a lonely heart. One thing for sure is, no matter the situation of your love life right now, it can only get better if you make it work. It takes two people to make a relationship work not one person, love wisely.

The song became Tyler's biggest career hit, topping the UK Singles Chart , and becoming the fifth-best-selling single in 1983 in the United Kingdom. The single has sales in excess of 6 million copies and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Bonnie Tyler (born 8 June, 1951) is a Welsh singer, known for her distinctive husky voice.
