Egypt international Mohamed Salah has been named 2017 Caf African Player of the Year award. Salah takes home the award for the first time ever, as he managed to defeat competition from fellow finalists Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the awards ceremony in Accra.
The 25-year-old turned in a stunning campaign for Liverpool in 2017 as he scored 17 goals in 21 games after joining the English Premier League side from AS Roma.
Also, Asisat Oshoala Is African Player Of The Year For A Third Time. According to her ''It's been an emotional year for me personally, when I left Arsenal Ladies in the UK for China, many said my career would be gone but I told myself I can do it & here I am today. To the young ones out there let no one down you, you can do it."-
