The Nigerian Senate, on Wednesday, barred a former president, Goodluck Jonathan from running for a second term in office. This was done during voting in series of new bills being passed by the upper legislative chamber.
The Bill sought that any vice president who had completed a tenure of a sitting president and contested a fresh four years mandate shall not be eligible to run for a second term of office. GUYS, WHAT DO YOU THINK?

All these is aimed at putting Osibajo aside in 2019 with the hope that when PMB eventually dies Osibanjo shouldn't contest.

Offcuz they have finally succeeded In doing that? However GEJ never said he wanted to reconstest again. I hope these same law makers who passed the law will be able to abide by it when the time gets to them. It is a simple logic they're trying to play smart but, at the same time very biased.

this was unnecessary. Jonathan readily conceded to his defeat even before INEC announced the final results. The man went through hell during his presidency. He has said his ambition was not any blood. He is not a man who would swallow his vomit. Spending time to talk about barring him from contesting is futile.

My brother I watched the plenary live, and GEJ was not mentioned, why then are you linking him to it. Yes,they voted like you said but not against only GEJ,but Atiku ,yemi Osinbajo and others.

@JUDE; Because the amendment is indirectly refering to him. @LAWAL; Atiku is free to contest
