Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) has said the Senate should shelve all plans to remove the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu. He, however, said the Senate can have its way when Senate President Bukola Saraki becomes the acting President, adding that the acting Chairman of the EFCC did not need the confirmation of the Senate.

The acting president insisted that Magu must remain and I support him because the senate are after their self interest

@Ken: we are watching as the drama plays out. Let's see if the Legislative is superior to Executive in Nigeria
Gentle-Prince Ken
acording to our 1999 constitution as armended in 2011, the senate or legislature has no right to argue with the presidency else will be sacked. but our people dont read read the constitution

Endy what makes one man feel he is better than a community, this present executive is just too troublesome and over-bearing, they should learn to work with others they cannot always be parading themselves in a reckless manner troubling the whole country
Emmanuel Gilbert
Prince I disagree the executive r the problem, instead of them facing governance and seeing how to fulfill their bogus promises they r busy fighting thing that r unnecessary, is Magu the only man capable of heading the efcc
Endy Edeson
@Abass, Gilbert, Prince, Ken; Magu is a clear case of politics of personal interest. Both the executive and legislature have personal reasons for their action
Endy Edeson
@Chidinma, Hahaha. funny question. Yes Saraki will become president if buhari and osinbajo are down. @ Igboo; On His Part
Emmanuel Gilbert
Atoyebi They should not dance they should face governance and leave frivolities, first it was the citizens-fuel price increase, arresting anyone who opposes them, then next was the judiciary, now is the legislator, flexing useless muscles, they should continue 2019 is on the corner, it will soon dawn on them they have failed woefully
