The Nigerian Army and officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC last Thursday discovered illegal oil well within the premises of Winners Satellite Church, Iyana-Odo, Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area, LCDA, it was filled Petroleum Motor Spirit, PMS.
This came barely two weeks after the police and other security agencies discovered about 10 houses on Ibadan and Abeokuta streets in Ilasamaja axis of the state, where wells where linked to oil pipelines through which diesel was siphoned.
It is regrettable that people are doing illegal business in a premises believed to be Holy ground with or without the intention of tarnishing the good image of the Great Man of God, Bishop Oyedepo

please inform people correctly. The church had long discovered and had
written a letter informing the relevant agencies (NNPC, NOSDRA) about
the leakage and nothing was done about it before the men of NSCDC and
the Military came and are informing the public as though it is the
church that is behind it.
