His remains was on this day, Friday, July 8, 2016 taken to church for funeral service at The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Grace Chapel #129, Ogunlana Drive Surulere, Lagos. He was buried at Ikoyi Cemetery, Lagos. A Service of Songs for him was held at O’jez event center, National Stadium, Surulere.
