He moved to Atlanta at the age of six where he became interested in rap music. Soulja Boy also known as Soulja Boy Tell 'Em is an American rapper, music producer, actor, and entrepreneur.
In September 2007, his debut single "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. For the 50th Grammy Awards, Soulja Boy was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Song with "Crank That (Soulja Boy)". But lost to Kanye West and T-Pain's "Good Life".
His younger brother, Deion Jenkins, died in a car accident in 2011. He also has an older brother. It is also on record that Soulja Boy and rapper Lil Bow Bow are not on good terms. As at the time of filing this report, Edeson Online News is yet to ascertain if they have reconciled.
Soulja Boy has more than 11 music albums to his credit. His hit song “Kiss You Through the Phone” enjoyed airplay and is still enjoying airplay around the world.
