POLITICS: Nigerian Senate Rejects President Muhammadu Buhari Ambassadorial List

Nigerian Senate, today, June 22, 2016 rejected President Muhammadu Buhari 47 Ambassadorial List.
with claims that the list lacks Federal Character. The senate, however, summoned Babachir Lawal, secretary
to the government of the federation (SGF), and Geoffrey Onyeama, foreign affairs minister, over alleged irregularities in the ambassadorial list. The president is being accused by Nigerians of favouring the northerners in his appointments.
