EDUCATION: Rivers Assembly Passes Bill into Law to Establish “ Port-Harcourt Polytechnic “

I remember when I was living at Rumuola area of Port-Harcourt, I loved strolling inside Rivers State College of Arts and Science campus. Though, I didn’t study in this school, it was a cool spot for relaxation. I usually
go there with my friends to watch football matches and have fun.
I am very happy that the school is being revamp by the State government . RIVERS State House of Assembly yesterday passed the Port Harcourt Polytechnic bill into law, thus making the former Rivers State College of Arts and Science, Rumuola now Port Harcourt Polytechnic.

@akintoye: the difference is that the school is now a National Diploma and Higher National Diploma awarding institution instead of just IJMB and Remedial Courses it was offering
