Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC,
have been banned from embarking on a strike action tomorrow by the
National Industrial Court, NIC, sitting in Abuja today. The
President of the court, Justice Babatunde Adejumo, gave the order on
Tuesday and it is to last for 7 days. Justice Adejumo also directed the
government to dialogue with the NLC towards an amicable resolution of
their dispute.
