Adebayo Salami popularly known as Oga Bello is a Yoruba actor, movie
producer and director. He was born on May 9, 1953 in Lagos State,
though an indigene of Kwara State. His son Femi Adebayo is also a
popular actor. Femi's nickname is "JELILI" after he featured in a comic
movie which he starred as "JELILI". Oga Bello began his acting
career in 1964 with a group called Young Concert Party. He featured in
the first Yoruba film, Ajani Ogun, in which the late Adeyemi Afolayan,the father of Kunle Afolayan and Gabriel Afolayan, plays the lead role. He produced his first movie, Ogun Ajaye, in 1985.
