Edeson Online News has been briefed of a 2 days warning strike
which is expected to start today by the Ekiti State chapter of Nigerian
Union of Teachers. This was made known by Samuel Akosile, the state
chairman of NUT. Edeson Online News gathered that Ekiti State
governor, Ayo Fayose quietly withdrew civil servants salaries including
Teachers salaries from their bank account after they received alerts of
November and December 2015 salaries.
Chief Press Secretary to Fayose, Idowu Adelusi blamed the inability of Fayose to pay Workers salaries due to his predecessor, Ayo Feyemi. He stated that Fayemi took outrageous loans to run the affairs of Ekiti when he was the governor of the State.
To recover from the debt, Governor Ayo Fayose pays a whooping sum of N950 Million monthly to pay for the loans Fayemi administration took.

November salary was paid so the bank had to withdraw one out of it.
