The Looming End of Saraka: Embattled Nigerian Senate President, Bukola Saraka on Friday lost
his Supreme Court bid to stop his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal,
challenging the validity of the charges of False Assets Declaration
against him at the Tribunal. Saraki, however, faulted the decision of
the Supreme Court, affirmed he will be vindicated. Edeson Online
News learnt that Senator Ahmed Lawan is working round the clocking,
perfectingthe plot to impeach the number 3 man of the country. It may be recalled that Saraki hijacked the chance of Lawan of becoming the Senate President and the battle is still on.
Eminent Nigerians and groups are calling for the resignation of Bukola Saraki in order to protect the integrity of the legislature. Human Rights lawayer, Femi Falana and The Unity Forum, a caucus of APC said Saraki should resign or risk the embarrassment of being thrown out from the senate like a mad man.
