As Christians prepare for the second arrival of SAVIOUR Jesus
Christ, many believers are working round the clock to seek the favour of
the Lord. According to the Holy Bible, Jesus Christ is coming soon like
a thief to safe mankind from destruction. Imo State Catholic
Church is not left out in this heavenly race of perpetual enjoyment in
Paradise. Edeson Online News learnt that a devoted Catholic faithful
simply identified as Obinna Onuoha has built the African tallest statue
of Jesus Christ at St. Aloysius Catholic Parish, Abajah, Imo State in a
bid to draw the holy spirit closer.
Our correspondent who visited
the site of the Historic monument said the Jesus statue is made of
marble, weighs 8.5 metres (28 ft) and took 3 years to complete. However,
our correspondent said efforts of finding out the cost of erecting such
Status proved abortive as no one was willing to disclose the amount.
