There are insinuations that former Bayelsa State governor, Chief
Diepreye Alamieyeseigha might have faked his own death to avoid being
punished by the Buhari-led administration and to stop his extradition to
Britain on corruption charges. It is being reported that the late PDP
big wig escaped to a foreign land to hide and enjoy himself without any
plans of returning to Nigeria . A relative of Alamieyeseigha who
wouldn't want to be mentioned told Edeson Online News that the
ex-governor is dead and not alive as being speculated. Edeson Online

His Burial ceremony would have held on
November 16 last year, the day he would have marked his 63 birthday.but
was postponed due to preparations for Bayelsa state governorship
election.
