All is now set for the swearing in of APC governor-elect,
Yahaya Adoza Bello tomorrow as the substantive governor of Kogi State.
The Kogi State Election tribunal has thrown out petitions that sought to
stop the inauguration of Bello tomorrow. Edeson Online News
gathered that Yahaya Bello has opted for another deputy governor to
replace James Faleke. We learnt Mr. Gowon Egbunu may emerge as deputy
governor to Bello.
Mr. Gowon Egbunu is a Christian, an indigene of
Ofu Local Council from Aloji Ward. He is also publisher based in Abuja
and politician,
It may be recalled that James Faleke turned down
the nomination to be the deputy governor to Yahaya Bello because he
feels he ought to be declared the governor-elect of Kogi State after the
death of Abubakar Audu whom he was a running mate to.
James Faleke is currently a serving House of Representatives member.
