Edeson Online News has been briefed on the bail conditions of media
icon and employer of Labour, Raymond Dokpesi who was granted bail today
by Federal High Court in Abuja after spending over 10 days in Kuje
prison. Dokpesi is accused of stealing and facing a 6 count charge of money laundering Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court said Mr. Dokpesi
should be granted bail on the condition that he provides two sureties
with N200 million each.
The sureties should either be retired director
in civil service and a private investor who has paid tax for 3 years.
The court also ordered Mr. Dokpesi to submit his international passport to the court’s registrar within 24 hours.
Mr. Dokpesi is to be remanded in Kuje prison till the bail conditions are met, the judge said.
