Beau Biden, the 46-year-old son of Vice President Joe Biden, died Saturday after a battle with brain cancer. The Biden family announced the news around 9:45pm last night. In a statement, the Biden family said: ‘It is with broken hearts that Hallie, Hunter, Ashley, Jill and I announce the passing of our husband, brother and son, Beau, after he battled brain cancer with the same integrity, courage and strength he demonstrated every day of his life.’
Biden, who lived in Wilmington, Delaware, served as a major in the state’s National Guard, and later as the Delaware Attorney General.
