The Senate on
Wednesday passed the Sexual Offences Bill, 2015 which prescribes life
imprisonment for rapists and those who have sexual intercourse with
children under 11 years. This means that it is legal to have SEX with an
11 years old girl with her consent. Rapists and those who
sexually abuse children would bag life imprisonment while other sexual
offenders would also be sentenced to serve various prison terms.
Guys, do you support the legal backing of having sex with an 11 year old girl in Nigeria?

can't stoop so low to sex an 11 year old, i pray i don't get tempted to
do so. Is good to do it with a matured girl, even some 20 years old
girls are not matured as to knowing what they actually want in
relationship which makes them vulnerable. such law isn't okay by me
because it will give lots of guys to the courage to abuse 11 years old
girls upwards just because it has a legal backing. it may also encourage
rape. please help me tell the 8th National Assembly to amend this part
of the law ASAP
