INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega says that results from today’s general election will be announced 48 hours after the elections have been concluded. So expect results on Monday March 30. He said this during a joint press briefing with the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig. Gen. Johnson Olawumi in Abuja today March 27th. Quote
“For the 2015 elections, we should be able to declare results nationally within 48 hours. Our aim is to improve upon our performance in 2011,” he said

we are talking of result. many card readers are failing. At Otuoke where the President went to vote.. three card readers failed. the President had to be patient till they tried the fourth card reader that worked. we have imported a technology that we have no capacity for, what is the purpose of taking ineffective card readers to the polling booth? what would it cost INEC to just test run every card reader before sending them out?
