In the awkward video proposal, DJ Khaled appears to be pouring his heart out and he tells Nicki Minaj in a quite dramatic fashion with a 10 karat radiant cut diamond ring valued at about $500,000 on MTV that:
“Nicki Minaj, I’m at MTV, I’m going to be honest with you; I love you. I like you, I want you, I want you to be mine,”
AND NIKKI MINAJ ACCEPTED.
It was reported that Nicki Minaj took a restraining order out against DJ Khaled after he proposed to her publicly. In fact just two days after the proposal, Nicki was spotted showing off a diamond engagement ring that looks like the $500,000 ring DJ Khaled proposed with.
Some reports say Nicki isn't engaged to DJ Khaled but she's kinda playing along to help him promote his upcoming album. The two are said to be friends. Friends of Nicki say she found the public proposal funny. Nicki is believed to be engaged to her long-time boyfriend and hype man, Safaree.
