Terry G aka HIT MAN was born in Lagos, Nigeria on the 17th of March. He is the first child in a family of four. A very talented and successful entertainer, instrumentalist, singer and music producer.
The development of his unique style called ''chante chante'' is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. Growing up in a talented musical family meant that Terry G was surrounded by different forms of music.
His mother is a zonal/unit choir coordinator in one of the longest Pentecostal churches in Nigeria, and his parents exposed him to a wealth of music as a child, all of which influenced his development.
At age 5 he started playing the drums, later he began to play the piano and bass guitar. He finally took the bold step of pursuing a professional career in music at age of 16, a dream which he never looked back from.
After realizing that making music was his main goal he switched to circular music and worked as a backup artiste for Faze of plantashun boiz for 2 years, after which he began to showcase his talent in various realms across the city of Lagos and beyond, playing at numerous events and making sure that his name and music were heard, by as many people as possible. As a musician he has since released 2 albums titled FREE ME and GINJAH UR SWAGGAH SEASON 1 respectively: which were very successful and enjoyed both within and outside the shores of Nigeria.
His breakthrough came when his FREE MADNESS song gained heavy rotation played both locally and internationally. He has received several awards, too numerous to list but note worthy is his HIP HOP WORLD AWARD for "best street hop.
