Tragedy struck this morning atNasarawa State University, Keffi, when some students were shot dead by some trigger-hungry military operatives.
The students embarked on a protest this morning over the non availability of water on campus, somewhere along the line the military operatives were invited to calm the environment, while on that something tragically went wrong resulting in the soldiers harassing and beating the students....to cut a long story short about 3 to 4 students were killed.
Meanwhile the school has been shut down indefinitely with the Governor of Nasarawa state, Tanko Almakura, advising all students to evacuate the campus immediate effect till further notice.
