Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan has named the Asaba stadium after Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi who hails from his state. A reception was held for the players after their victory at the just concluded Nations Cup at the Asaba international event center in Delta State. Keshi was also given N8m cash and a duplex in the state capital.
His assistants, Daniel Amokachi, Sylavnus Okpalla, and Ike Shorunmu receive N4m each. Each player got N2.5m each, while old and present players of Warri Wolves such as, Sunday Mba, Chigozie Agbim, Azuibike Egweke and Brown Ideye got N5m each.
