Uganda will hold a special National Prayer Breakfast on October 8th, this year as Uganda marks its Golden Jubilee with the theme Ebenezer Uganda ‘Towards National Transformation’. The chairperson of parliamentary fellowship David Bahati in the statement supplied to the media on Monday revealed that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will be the national host and the event will be held at Hotel Africana in Kampala. Mr. Bahati also noted that the key note speaker will be the renowned motivational speaker, Dr. Abu Bako, President of Logos – Rhema Foundation for Leadership Resource, Accra-Ghana.
Hon Bahati also said that a number of international and local guests have been invited and confirmed their presence.
“The 2012 Olympics Uganda’s Golden boy Stephen Kiprotich will give a testimony during this year’s National
Prayer Breakfast,” Said Bahati.
The day’s programme will be highly parked with Jubilee songs, cutting of the cake, reading of the Bible and Quran by MPs, prayers, including prayer by the President and fellowshipping.
