A man from Kampala Uganda, Mohammed Nsereko has been released on bail by the Grade One Buganda road Magistrate Julius Borore. Nsereko was arrested yesterday for assaulting and beating up a police detective who also lost his teeth in the incident.
Nsereko has been released after paying a cash bail of sh600,000 and his two sureties Patrick Nsanja and Godfrey Kiwanda bailed him out at sh500,000 not cash. Nsereko’s laywer has asked court for more time to study the case before it is heard and the magistrate postponed the case hearing to
tomorrow. All the witnesses in the case including the police detective who was battered have been present in court.
