A film
about the killing of Osama Bin Laden has been released. The title of the
film is ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ and it is now online. The movie about Bin
Laden raid was previously developed under the working title “Kill Bin Laden”.
Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal had been working on the project even before Bin Laden was
murdered during a massive attack by the U.S. army in Abbottabad, Pakistan in
May 2012.
The gritty movie will make its way out onto the U.S. cinemas on December 19. Lining up in the cast ensemble are Jessica Chastain, Joel Edgerton, Mark Strong, Edgar Ramirez, Chris Pratt, Jason Clarke and Kyle Chandler among others.
The drama from the double Oscar-winning director of The Hurt Locker features a high-profile cast including Jessica Chastain, Joel Edgerton, Mark Duplass, Kyle Chandler and Mark Strong. It centres on the US Navy Seal unit that raided Bin Laden’s compound in northern Pakistan on 2 May last year on the orders of US president Barack Obama, killing the al-Qaeda leader in a covert operation.
