POLITICS/BUSINESS: Anambra State Begins Exporting of Ugu (Vegetable) & Bitterleaf to United Kingdom

It is in the news that Anambra State government has commenced the exportation of pumpkin leaves (Ugu) and bitter leaves (Onugbu) into United Kingdom to boast the revenue of the State and promote local content. Edeson Online News gathered that Anambra State Ministry of Agriculture helped some rural farmers export pumpkin leaves (Ugu) and

bitter leaves (Onugbu) into United Kingdom on the 21st Jan 2016.
The vegetables produced by Anambra farmers are classified as 100% organic.

This move by the state governor, Willie Obiano is geared towards making Anambra a top vegetable export state.
