@jesse:
you just said my mind: i remember when i was in primary school. There
was a particular song that RADIO RIVERS PORTHARCOURT kept playing all
the time. It goes this way """ NEO-COLONIALISM
IS THE PROBLEM IN AFRICA,"". Though, i couldn't figure out the meaning
of the song but i enjoyed listening to it. Now that i'm an adult i don't
think such song can be enjoyable to me. this neo-colonialism TAG should be completely wiped out in Africa
Jesse Osayande Vucinic Ehiagwina
Endy,
you know one of the problems with that? We ourselves. Africans aren't
patient. I don't think they even wana get out of it. The West have
successfully imbibed the culture of individualist over collectivism in
most. Very few know the African history and how the continent have been
raped. Take Burkina Faso for example, Campaore in collabo with
France+others had Sankara killed cos the Nation was progressing. What
have the people don since then? NOTHING. Campaore still rules. Too many
African leaders selling out and the citizens towing the path.

I
see nothing wrong in our president travelling to different countries
for our dear country. Travelling is part of leadership if many fail to
know.

@mazi:
I know it’s for bilateral betterment. But at times, the outcomes of the
journeys are not made known to the masses which makes it a
SELF-INTEREST Journey. @jesse: I think some of the colonial countries
are aware of the evil deeds they carried out in Africa, I heard in the
news over the weekend that Britain has tendered apology to Kenya for
killing thousands of people in Kenya during Mau Mau uprising in
Pre-colonial era. The apology came after over 50 years.

Endy,
oh these countries know alright but our people have forgotten. What
reparations have been given back? The Jews still collect "holocaust"
money for what was questionable. Colonialism and slavery was far worse
and it was REAL. No apologies, no reparations, no price paid. We don't
know our history. Or we choose to forget them thinking its best left
that way. That's a mistake. A big one. South Africans celebrate Mandela
forgetting Steven Biko's fight. A man who didn't conform.
Jesse Osayande Vucinic Ehiagwina
The
atrocities Belgium committed in Congo still lives on. African people
still watch on with the continued rape cos they've stupidly let
themselves been pitted against each other in the name of "tribe"
