Though the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria had earlier said only
three Nigerians died in the crane accident that occurred in a Mecca
mosque in Saudi Arabia on Friday, there seems to be a new twist to it
now has more bodies of Nigerians have been discovered among the dead
victims. According to the spokesperson of the Hajj commission, a total
of six Nigerians have been confirmed dead with four people still
missing.
He disclosed that their religion Islam, does not permit corpses to be brought back home, so they will also be buried in Mecca.
