POLITICS: Complete List of Winners of 2015 Nigeria Governorship Election ( UPDATING)

GOMBE STATE---Incumbent Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo of Gombe state has been returned the winner of the keenly contested gubernatorial election in the state. The Governor who won on the Peoples Democratic Party PDP platform secured his second term bid after polling a total of 285,369 votes against Inuwa Yahaya’s 205,132 votes-

AKWA IBOM STATE--- The Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, has won the governorship election in the state. The PDP candidate secured a landslide victory over his All Progressive Congress candidate, Mr. Umana Okon, defeating him by 996, 071 votes to 89, 865.
The Independent National Electoral Commission while announcing the results, said Emmanuel won in all the local government areas in the state.

OYO STATE---Gov Ajimobi. He defeated two other former governors in the state to clinch victory in a keenly-contested election. Governor Abiola Ajimobi has become the first governor to govern Oyo State twice. The former governors who contested with the incumbent governor are Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala of Labour Party and Senator Rashidi Ladoja of Accord.

KADUNA STATE----Incumbent governor Gov Mukhtar Ramalan Yero congratulates Nasir El-Rufai for winning theKaduna Gubernatorial election.

LAGOS STATE---All Progressives Congress, APC, Lagos Governorship candidate, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode has emerged winner in the governorship election in Lagos beating his arch rival of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Jimi Agbaje as runner-up.

---The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ibikunle Amosun, has been re-elected to govern Ogun State for a second term.

OGUN STATE: ----- incumbent Governor Ibikunle Amosun secured 306,988 votes to defeat Gboyega Isiaka of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who had 201,440 votes. The Social Democratic Party, SDP, candidate, Akin Odunsi, came third with 25,826 votes.

KATSINA STATE:-----Former speaker of the House of Representatives and APC candidate, Aminu Bello Masari has been declared winner of Katsina state gubernatorial election.Masari polled 943, 0815 votes to emerged winner after defeating six other candidates including the PDP candidate and Shema’s annointed, Musa Nashuni.

EBONYI STATE-----Engr. Dave Umahi declared winner of Ebonyi State Governorship Election.

SOKOTO STATE: ------The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has been declared winner of Sokoto state governorship election.
