PLATEAU KILLINGS: Buhari Talks Tough, Blames Politicians For The Act

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, June 25, decried how desperate politicians have increasingly cheapened human life in their quest to establish a reign of instability and chaos in the country for political gains.
"Those behind the killings hoped that it would give them an advantage in the coming elections" he said.

The police command in Plateau had on Sunday confirmed the killing of 86 people in attacks on Razat, Ruku, Nyarr, Kura and Gana-Ropp villages of Gashish District in Barkin Ladi local government area of the state.

The Plateau government had since announced a dusk to dawn curfew in Riyom, Barkin Ladi and Jos South local government areas to check further breakdown of law and order in the state.

GUYS, DO YOU THINK THE KILLINGS IS POLITICALLY MOTIVATED?

YOUR VIEWS.

C'mon let us be reasonable on this discourse Nigerians. First of all, I understand it's the duty of Mr president to curb the incessant killing but we ought to set aside our emotion and realize this is a very difficult situation which would also be difficult for any other person if he was the president.... We are here talking about people living among us-not organized known group... People live, work, move, relate with them on daily basis(they just turn to monster in a minute & act like a comon humans later).... How is it easy to get these type of individuals nailed? Mr. President definitely has the right to say what he said. The man is frustrated about it... Those so called self-centred, desperate politicians need to stop because if Buhari can't bring them to justice as he is being handicapped by our so called 'Constitution/democratic rule' which makes it difficult to probe, prosecute and convict those sponsoring these people, I beleive a day is coming when they will face the retribution of their actions... I know people will argue that why can't PMB find the perpetrators including the so called politicians who sponsor them. Yeah that's true but one problem about Nigerians is that we hope for betterment but we are not really ready for it(you wanna know why?) It is simply because we let our political, regional, religious and tribal differences get us in shamble and brainwashed... The reason why I stated this is that if some names of influential individuals are named as suspects who sponsor this menacing actions and goverment is trying to prosecute them, many Nigerians(most especially the masses) would be calling it witchunting and all sorts of dissuading names... They would be threatening with another crisis all because the person shares mutual differences with them.. So what are we saying?

Imagine if we were in millitary regime whish autocratic power was there... Do you think those perpetrators would have the ball to be doing anyhow?

Who has incapacitated the state governor there whose responsibility is to govern thereby enforcing it through the men in uniform? Must the state governor go to sleep while the people who gave him the mandate to govern get killed? Why should it be the president to address such incidents always?

Nigeria is falling apart under the lack and inadequate control of her nation. The canonization of terror is now the bread so-called leaders eat once they get the grip of power.
