The world’s oldest billionaire, David Rockefeller died yesterday Monday March 20, 2017 at age 101. Rockefeller was the last remaining grandchild of America’s first billionaire, Standard Oil founder
John D. Rockefeller. He died peacefully at his family’s estate in Pocantico Hills, New York. The cause of death was congestive heart failure.
At the time of his death, Rockefeller was worth an estimated $3.3 billion, making him the planet's 604th richest person. He studied economics for a year at Harvard University and then a year at the London School of Economics (LSE). At LSE he first met future President John F. Kennedy (although he had earlier been his contemporary at Harvard) and once dated Kennedy's sister Kathleen.
After returning to the U.S. to complete his graduate studies, in 1940 he received a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. President Jimmy Carter offered him the position of United States Secretary of the Treasury but he declined. He married Margaret "Peggy" McGrath (1915–1996) on September 7, 1940. She was the daughter of a partner in a prominent Wall Street law firm. They had six children. Rockefeller is survived by five children, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was the chairman & Chief Executive of Chase Manhattan Bank. The bank was formed as Chase National Bank in 1877 by John Thompson. It was named after former United States Treasury Secretary and Chief Justice Salmon P. Chase, although Chase did not have a connection with the bank. The Chase National Bank acquired a number of smaller banks in the 1920s, through its Chase Securities Corporation. The bank was known as Chase Manhattan Bank until it merged with J.P. Morgan & Co. in 2000.
Roc-A-Fella Records was an American record label founded by American recording artist Jay-Z, Damon Dash and Kareem "Biggs" Burke. The label name sounds like Rockefeller in pronunciation but they are not the same thing.
Goodbye David Rockefeller.

May His Soul Rest In Peace.
But, The Story Is Not Complete, Or Was He Living In The Bed Of Roses? Was There No Time Of Trials For Him? There Should Be Moments Of Trials Which Will Encourage People Like Us Strive Harder Knowing That There Is Always Light At The End Of The Tunnel.
