The equipment and materials for the production of toothpicks is located at Dekan Industry Limited, Ekom Iman, Etinan. The toothpick industry has helped provide employment for many jobless citizens in the State.
However, some youths of the state have reacted negatively to the development. Some opined that production of toothpicks is not enough to give Governor Udom kudos.
