POLITICAL UPDATES: Federal High Court Affirms Ikpeazu Election, Stops the Swearing In of Ogah

Federal High Court in Owerri, today, July 8, affirmed the election of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, and Abia State High Court has also stopped the swearing in Mr. Uche Ogah, as governor of the state.

Ikpeazu was removed from office as governor over alleged falsification of tax receipts, his PDP Primary running mate Mr. Uche Ogah was issued Certificate of Return by INEC to occupy his Position but Ikpeazu appealed the decision.
With the new ruling by the Federal High Court, Ikpeazu remains the governor of Abia State. The court cleared Ikpeazu of forgery charges, saying his tax documents were not forged as alleged, adding that he remains governor.

I don't have side, but Nigerian courts are full of controversies, i think dere is a need to change a timetable for election, i tink it suppose to be 6 months before d swearing in, and all d courts should make sure dey finished all d case in dere courts before swearing in...
