Edeson Online News: CRIME NEWS: A Christian Carpenter Attacked, Almost Killed by Muslims for Not Fasting During Ramadan

A Christian man, Francis Emmanuel has escaped death after he was attacked by Muslims for daring to eat in the afternoon during Ramadan fasting hour. Mr. Francis who is a carpenter said the incident happened
around 2:30pm at Sokoto Road, Kakuri.
Below is what he narrated to journalists:
“ when I went to the market to buy wood to do some work. So, when I came back, I bought food to eat. As I was eating, about six Hausa boys came to ask me if I am a Muslim or a Christian, but I did not answer them. They asked why I was not fasting, then, I told them that I am not a Muslim. Before I know it, one of them slapped me. As I stood up, the rest came and surrounded me and started attacking me with knives.”
When asked if he can identify them, he said, “I don’t know them.

Is unfortunate how some people engage themselves in a life of plagiarism. Journalism is a professional field of study which is used quickly to pass information being it negative or positive depending on the desire of elites & journalists. However, media plays a tremendous role in radicalising the minds of people just like what I can see on this platform "Ramadan wahala". There is a theory called Magic Bullet/Hypodermic Needle Stimulus Response, read about it & see how media was used quickly to achieve positive result.....No change agent as important as media simply because how far it can go within couple of minutes & impact on people's mind......Is pathetic how so called media in Nigeria engage more on being agents of division & destruction rather than trying to restore peace & unity.
