Osama bin Laden was born on March 10, 1957, died on this day, May 2, 2011. He was the founder of AL-Qaeda, the organization that claimed responsibility for the September 11 attacks on the United States. His father was a billionaire. He studied Civil Engineering at the University. In 1988, he formed al-Qaeda Islamic Terrorist group. He was banished from Saudi Arabia in 1992, and shifted his base to Sudan, until U.S. pressure forced him to leave Sudan in 1996. He declared a war against the United States, initiating a series of bombings

and related attacks including attack on World Trade Centre in New York on September 11, 2001.

Osama bin Laden, the founder and head of the Islamist militant group Al-Qaeda, was killed in Pakistan on May 2, 2011, by United States Navy SEALs.

It was alledged that America was once in good terms with Osama’s Al-Qaeda before their relationship hit the rock. According to revelations, America armed Al-Qaeda with Funds and ammunitions to fight Soviet Union.

However, their relationship deteriorated when America started attacking countries and regions Osama Bin Laden supported. Osama declared Holy War against America for attacking Muslims in Somalia, supporting Russian atrocities against Muslims in Chechnya, supporting the Indian oppression against Muslims in Kashmir.
