AFRICAN POLITICS: Ex-Liberian Footballer, GEORGE WEAH is Contesting for President Again

Former striker, George Weah has announced he will run for president of Liberia for a second time with a "vision" to transform the country. He first contested as Liberia President in 2005 but was was defeated by current president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. George Weah has played for AC Milan & Chelsea was the highest-ranking African footballer in Fifa's list of greatest players of the 20th century.
He is currently a senator for the western province of Montserrado, which includes the capital Monrovia.
