POLITICS: kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello Finally Appoints His Deputy, He is Achubauba

Reports reaching Edeson Online News disclose that Hon. Simon Achuba has been picked by Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello as the deputy governor of the state. Governor Bello has sent a letter to the State House of Assembly, asked the lawmakers to confirm Achu­ba as his deputy. Bello decided to appoint another deputy following the refusal of Hon. James Faleke, the running mate of late Prince Audu.

“Hon. Simon Achuba (JP) was a 2 time member of the state House of Assembly from 1999 to 2007 where he was Deputy-Speak­er

during his second tenure. He is from Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi State and was a two-time honourable member of the state House of Assembly from 1999 to 2007 where he was Deputy-Speak­er during his second tenure.
