POLITICS: Buhari Opts for Northerners to Replace Ibe Kachikwu as NNPC Director

The president has concluded plans to appoint new GMD of NNPC. Edeson Online News findings reveal that the president has 3 northern candidates on his list to replace Kachikwu. Isa Mohammed Inuwa Deputy MD of NLNG is one of the 3 northerners tipped to be named. It is on paper that Ibe Kachikwu has been cleared for ministerial position and is expected to be the Minister of Petroleum. Kachikwu was able to publish NNPC Monthly sales and reports, reduce NNPC directorates from 8 to 5 to save cost in his short time in office.
