The leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Mr Nnamdi
Kanu, arrived the Abuja Chief Magistrate Court today to answer criminal
charges brought against him by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The director of Radio Biafra Nnamdi Kalu is to remain in prison as State
Security Service (SSS) asked magistrate court to transfer the case of
treason against him to another court. This was decided at a court
hearing today because the accused

The chief magistrate, Usman adjourned the matter to Tuesday, December 1, for ruling on the application to discontinue the case.
Kanu was arrested on October 18 by operatives of the Department of
State Services (DSS) on his arrival from the United Kingdom, since then,
he has been detained by the SSS.
