Edeson Online News can authoritatively report that mobile telecommunicati on
company MTN has bowed to pressure and agreed to pay $5.2 billion (N1.4
trillion) fine slammed on them by Nigerian Communications Commission for
disobeying to de-activate SIM cards that have not been registered as
directed. We also gathered that MTN pleaded with Federal
Government of Nigeria to pay the huge sum of money in installment to
make it easier for them.

Who cares? After all we all pay for the service we don't enjoy or receive.

@prog:
to be sincere i love MTN tarrif plans and they have the largest
customer database in Nigeria. as the saying goes. "NO SMOKE WITHOUT
FIRE" i empathise with them at this moment. nobody loves unforeseen
loses in business
Prog Da-Lars
Yeah. Their tariff plans of late is fair but I bet you the pain is always personal when they start with their fuckups.

Endy Edeson,
this is not a case of unforeseen lose.. they deliberately instigated
the lose by themselves, because its been a long time the NCC started
campaigning for Sim reintegration am even surprised to hear they still
have unregistered Sims out there

They will still recover the money from me and you.
