knew this will happen; during the 2015 elections I was a keen observer
of strategies politicians were using to lure voters. Infact, I took out
time to move around Lagos, I noticed that Ambode was jovial to everyone.
I was opportuned to see him taking a photograph with okada men at Omowu
Odofin area of Lagos. The Okada riders were very happy to meet him, I
seriously laughed out loud on my mind because ‘Ambo’ as he is fondly
called will one day turn his back on them and my thoughts were right.
Though, it’s good to check the excesses of these okada men in Lagos, if
he doesn’t like the idea of “Okada thing” in Lagos, why not kick against
it during your campaigns.” – Endy Edeson.
The Lagos
State Government has made its intention known that Okada riders will
from now hence forth stop plying major roads in the State. While
speaking yesterday, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation,
Oluseyi Coker had noted that the riders were restricted from 475 routes
out of the 9,100 roads in Lagos in 2012 but they soon came back.
He further explained that the ban would benefit citizens, stating that since it was banned in 2012 the state has witnessed over 81% reduction in the number of motorcycle-rela

are u againsting the government. on thursday two men on a bike were hit
by a bus and two of them die immediately at ile zik but along
lagos-abeokuta expressway.

i'm not against the ban but what i'm saying is that he shouldn't have
"romanced" the okada men during his campaigns if he knew he was going to
take them off

am nt there during the campagin, I did nt knw wht he told them before
they all rally round him in that picture. I also saw it. but did he said
he's going to bring okada back to the road during his campagin.
