Is that so? Senator-elect, Dino Melaye, has alleged that the government of President Jonathan is the most corrupt in Nigeria's history. He made the allegation in a new interview with Premium Times. “Jonathan is the promoter of corruption. I am telling you that the Government of Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan is the most corrupt in Nigerian history but who we have as president-elect of this country today, Muhammadu Buhari, the man I see as the nemesis of corruption. I am an advocate of anti-corruption and for me if I enter office, I am going to do it more this time around. More importantly, now that we have a government that is going to have zero tolerance for corruption, we must as legislators carry out our functions from any form of sacrifice.” he said
Do you agree with Dino Melaye?

Let's be honest. The most corrupt we've seen in this country is this present Govt. After this one? OBJ, Shagari. This Govt has been very bad if we're to be honest. I hold zero loyalty to anybody or party. If I see one that's bad, they get called out. GEJ is like a kid who went to a candy store and couldn't contain his excitement.

@jesse: that's true. GEJ play sentiment in politics. just because DEPRRIEYE ALAMIESEYE helped his political career, he granted him Presidential pardon to free him of all charges despite over half of Bayelsa money he stole. He has tolerated lots of corrupt people in his govt and that is what 'ousted' him from office. @gilbert: you just reminded me of the dirty relationship DINO MELAYE keeps with women.

Endy, not only that. He's politically inept and that also is one of his downfalls. He uses people to get a good stand and dumbs them. There's an issue now at Bayelsa concerning the Gov if he should continue. That could blow up too. All in all, its hard to run a corrupt free Govt. I take that back, its impossible but the key is accountability. Countries like the US, UK, Russia, China, Germany, France are FAR more corrupt than we can imagine but they keep it on the lowkey. If you get caught, you're liable to pay for it. These countries I mentioned get people going for political office not cos they wana serve but cos of what they wana gain from the system. Its that way in most countries really. Very few people really wana serve in politics.

@ziggy: to tell you the truth, I’m n entrepreneur, a professional freelancer. I’m one of those guys that believe in the SCHOOL OF THOUGHT that believes citizens can make it without seeking for help frm the govt. i was sleepy during GEJ administration. in this new GMB administration. i'm looking forward to be one of the beneficiaries in his CHANGE. i will make sure i benefit from the govt either directly or indirectly. we must all witness and enjoy this change. The power of that change to reach us is in US.

Prof Bill Murphy of Harvard defines entrepreneurshi p as THE PURSUIT OF OPPORTUNITIES WITHOUT REGARD TO RESOURCES CURRENTLY CONTROLLED. This is to say that an entrepreneur has no time waiting for any government to do something for him..he rather does something for govt or organizations to come to him.... Endy.. u are so right about ur school of thought on entrepreneurshi p. Entrepreneurs are independent people.

Over to what Dino said. We have parameters for measuring whatever we wish to measure. it is on good authority and record that Transparency International rates Nigeria far above the indices we had been over the years. In that wise, it becomes an exercise in stupidity to just brand Nigeria as the most corrupt. Maybe he is judging from what happens in his village!
